Questions

Frequently asked questions

Who actually provides the funding?

Pay at close financing is provided by Titus Lending, LLC, a licensed consumer lender — not Staircase Partners or Samson Properties. We share this option with our sellers because we think it's a useful tool, but the loan agreement, terms, and approval decision are entirely between you and Titus. Loan eligibility is not guaranteed and is subject to credit approval and underwriting.

What if my home doesn't sell right away?

If your home hasn't sold within six months, Titus offers flexible repayment plans rather than demanding immediate payment in full.

Does this cost anything if I don't use it?

No. There's no cost or obligation to learn more or apply. You only take on a repayment obligation if you're approved and choose to use the funds.

Does this affect the price we list at or how you market my home?

No. Our approach to pricing, photography, and marketing your home stays exactly the same whether or not you use pay at close — it's simply a way to fund prep work without paying out of pocket up front.

How do I get started?
